Resort overview
Avoriaz is a pedestrian resort. In the streets, sleighs replace cars, skiers can ski right to their door and children go around in sledges.
There are 2 snowparks and a superpipe. There's even a webiste dedicated to the snowparks: http://www.snowparkavoriaz.com/
There are among the best French snowparks. There's also The Stach, an ecological snowpark with wooden elements, a Burton initiative. A must see and visit.

Transport Information
By car:
Direction Chamonix on the A41. Exit 18 Cluses, direction Taninges on the D902, then head for Les Gets and Morzine then Avoriaz 1800 . Follow the road signs to the resort (distance from Morzine to Avoriaz : 15km).
By train:
TGV (fast train) in Thonon-les-Bains and Cluses. For information and bookings call 36 35 (0.34€/mn) from France or visit http://www.voyages-sncf.com
There is also the international train station in Geneva : 00 41 900 300 300
There are shuttles and buses to take you from the train station to the resort (see below).
By plane:
