Small resort among the firtrees, with a snowpark and a boardercross.

Metabief includes 4 ski areas: Metabief, les Fourgs, Entre les Fourgs and Rochejean.

No student fare.

Location:

By car:
A 36 : exit Besançon then RN 57, follow Pontarlier / Lausanne.
A39 : exit Poligny, then RN 5, RD 471, RN 57.

By train:
To Malbuisson and Métabief resort:
Frasne train station (25 km from Métabief and 18 km from Malbuisson)
Vallorbe train station (Switzerland) (10 km from Métabief and 20 km from Malbuisson)

Then connection with buses TER to the following villages :
Vallée des 2 Lacs - Malbuisson : Bonnevaux, Vaux-et-Chantegrue, Les Granges Ste Marie (le Coude), Malbuisson (Le Vieux Moulin or Tourism office), Labergement Ste Marie.
Métabief : Rochejean, Les Longevilles Mont d'Or, Fourcatier, St Antoine, Métabief (village and Altic), Les Hôpitaux-Neufs (Post office), Jougne (ski lift and town hall), Les Tavins.

Les Fourgs:
Pontarlier train station (12 km from Fourgs). No bus connection.

Shuutles:
Ski-Bus free to the villages around Métabief ski resort: Rochejean, Les Longevilles Mont d'Or, Métabief, Les Hôpitaux-Neufs, Les Hôpitaux-Vieux, Jougne. Access to ski tracks.

Free shuttle to Métabief village during the winter holidays (February).
