Destination overview
At Tamarin, the most important is is to see the splendid and gigantic bay and its mythical wave, once called "Santosha". The landscape is superb and the houses nearly on the beach, fine sand, traditional fishing boats in the lagoon and the left-hander you can see in the distance; most of the locals are fiendly, but there are still some " white shorts", less welcoming with the tourists( during my stay there I didn't have any problem though.
The best season for the waves is winter, i.e. the months of december,january,february,or even october/november.

You can travel about in a taxi ( rather expensive)in a rented car, ( left hand driving there)or by public transports ( bus)
